The Buran Ghati Trek is a high-altitude Himalayan journey nestled in the heart of Himachal Pradesh, perfect for thrill-seekers, nature lovers, and experienced trekkers.
Starting from the charming village of Janglik, the trail weaves through dense pine forests, lush Dayara meadows, icy lakes, and dramatic snow walls, finally crossing the awe-inspiring Buran Ghati Pass at an altitude of 15,000 ft (4600m). It’s one of the most scenic and adventurous treks in the Indian Himalayas — a mix of beauty, remoteness, and adrenaline.
Difficulty Level: Moderate to Difficult. Fitness Required: Prior trekking experience and good cardiovascular stamina are recommended.

- Depart early from Shimla (around 7:00 AM)
- Enjoy scenic drive via Rohru, Tikri, and Chirgaon
- Reach the beautiful Himalayan village of Janglik by evening
- Evening briefing and overnight stay at a campsite
- Highlights: River views, pine forests, traditional Himachali villages
- Trek through forest trails, wildflowers, and wheat fields
- Catch your first views of alpine meadows
- Campsite at Dayara offers wide Himalayan panoramas
- Highlights: Dense forests, meadows, Himalayan peaks
- Gradual ascent through open landscapes
- Cross multiple streams, including Chandranahan stream
- Reach Litham valley, surrounded by towering peaks

- Early morning hike to the sacred Chandranahan Lake
